Well look here! It’s another SUPER book to review!

Here we have Craft-a-Doodle. This lovely book has been put together by Jenny Doh and 18 very talented contributors. There are 75 exercises that are designed to fuel your imagination and get your creative juices flowing. I have to admit that within 10 minutes of sitting down with the book I’d gone off and found myself pen and paper to get started!

I made a start doodling faces….and owls!

I think the princess is my favourite!

Within the pages you are encouraged to use pens rather than a pencil – and be confident in your doodles!

Each exercise gives a list of items you will need, instructions to follow and tips.

Our 4 year old loves to draw (and is very good, if I do say so myself) and she loved this book. She wanted to immediately try a few of the exercises so we had a go at ‘Be square’ We got out the mini ink pads and made lots of squares on a piece of paper then let our imaginations go…

aren’t her pictures cute? (her’s are on the left just in case you were wondering)

Overall I love this book. reading it and working through a few of the exercise I felt inspired to get drawing and designing.
