A lost tooth!

Smallest lost her first tooth easter weekend. One minute it was there and next time we looked at her she had a gapping hole!

We had to write a letter to the tooth fairy explaining the situation. Luckily our particular tooth fairy is very understanding. She also didn’t mind coming back the very next night when she had spent the whole day wobbling the one next to it to get it to come out, the rascal!!! I’m now sad that our little baby is growing up and already loosing her teeth :(

As promised, we have egg painting pictures!!

I fancied having a go at painting some pretty flowers on some eggs so I got my paint brushes out too!

I rather like them! And as I’ve had a delivery of other wooden shapes I thought I’d make a nice mum heart while I was at it!

Not to be out-done, Mrs Chicken wanted in on the egg action!

Happy easter folks!

We managed a bit of a craft night recently. Nothing too tricky for me to prepare! We painted wooden eggs!

Aren’t they great!? The kids have some to do too so I’ll keep you posted!

Hello all,

This is an apology for not having blogged this year. A genuine apology with a legitimate excuse and all. At the start of the year I woke up in agony as a result of a slipped disk in my neck. I find sitting at my sewing machine particularly uncomfortable so there hasn’t been an awful lot of stuff going on to report. I’m having physio and making slow progress but crafting and making has taken a bit of a back seat so far this year. Anything I have done has mainly been with the girls!

A quick catch-up…..

Star wars

Birmingham museum

A 5th birthday

Someone started rainbows!

World book day.

And some junk modelling!

With the easter holidays fast approaching its time to think about something to keep those small people out of trouble. Luckily the lovely folk over at Yellow Moon have sent us a box of exciting easter goodies to give a whirl. Here’s what was in our box…

Easter dotty art, Easter colour in gift boxes, 4 part paint pad,

Mini Glitter eggs, shredded tissue.

spring basket kits, bunny mix and match, and wooden easter shapes.

The girls got stuck straight in with the gift boxes and dotty art.

The mix and match bunnies were a huge hit and now adorn smallest’s wardrobe!

The mini glittery eggs and shredded tissue were used for a top secret project with smallest…shhh….!

we still have a few things to try out but I can definitely say this box of goodies got the girls seal of approval.

This box of goodies was sent to use for review purposes by Yellow Moon. All opinion are those of the small people and myself. To grab your own box of goodies head on over to the yellow moon page and place your order. They always have lots of fantastic deals going on so do sign up for their newsletter too!
