......nerd day, that my dear friends will be tomorrow and I'm sure I'll have a lovely treat for you then! In the mean time here is a sneaky peak at my latest nerdy sewing...I'll definitely be making a set for our tree at work!

Oh my, has it already been nearly a week since my last post. I have no idea where this week has gone. Tomorrow there will be only 9 weeks to Christmas and I haven't even got going on this weeks knitted present. I was far too busy having a lovely time up in York at the weekend! I went to see my lovely friend Joy and we popped over to see another friend and her 3 week old little baby! (Hello Mummy Bear and new baby Bear!) The hat and bibs I made went down well and I had fun playing with Anna's duplo!
We also managed a bit of shopping and I succumbed to the shiny new Cath Kidston shop on Stonegate....I had to....Joy made me do it. Okay, so she never made me go in and never made me buy Make! and a nice red soap dish....BUT she did make me go into Little Betty's and have a Yorkshire cream tea! I suppose it was only fair as I did made her go with me on a York City Walls Nostalgia Tour. If you are interested you can see photos HERE. I love York, I really do. It's the only place I wanted to go to university and where I got my biology degree. It's where I met my lovely husband and got married and where I made some fantastic friends! One of which left a HUGE bag of fabric odds and ends with Joy for me. Thanks Jackie! I'm sure I'll find some use for all this lovely fabric! (this is only the top of the pile!)

And finally (I feel like a news reader!) I stole this from Joy in a huff, she started it before she moved into her current house (over 5 years ago!) and it's still very very flat! I'm going to stuff it and sew it up for her!
