Haha! I've finally, almost, finished the baby blanket I started knitting in September for Franny's baby! I've been frantically sewing the squares together this week as we're off for a visit them on Friday, but I think I need to do a blanket stitch around the edge to make it a little neater. Ignore the right side as it's a little 'rustic' - I like the home made feel it has!

You can tell I didn't do the yellow squares as they are nice and even! (thanks again JJ!) It seems there is a lot of knitting going on this year, every blog I read (and I read quite a few!) has scarfs or hats on the go. I really want to be able to knit socks. I've seen this book on Amazon...AND I really like this Tea Cosy one too! Both have been added to my wishlist, but not sure I can wait till my birthday for them...!

On a non-knitting note....I finally tracked down some cork tiles to make this notice board from Making Stuff for kids. Designed by Heidi Kenny of My Paper Crane. How can you not like anything when it has a smiley face???
