HELLO, AND WELCOME TO MY BLOG!

This is my little space in the world where I like to ramble on about what I've been making and other things I've been up to.

I do put a lot of hard work into everything I make so please do not use any content from this website without contacting me first.

This afternoon was a little more relaxed than this morning. J came home for lunch and we had some nice toasties and a big cuppa then I cracked on with a little drawstring bag for our niece - she's starting nursery and needs a bag to put a change of clothes, etc in. Nothing fancy - but I did sew one of my little labels with the web address into it! :)

I also finished the chick family of egg warmers I started last Friday. S(teve), A(nnie) and M(egan) will have warm eggs! (I hope they like boiled eggs....!?!)

Not got any further with littlest sisters bag or the baby blanket and nursery tidy for Fran, but have made a start on a cushion cover and had a nice soak in the bath and a relax. I feel a busy sewing week ahead.

Ah, a day at home alone (I'm on strike!) and a chance to get some projects done and dusted. Even though I'm not at work I still got up at my usual time as I didn't want today to go to waste. I've made scotch pancakes for breakfast, cut out fabric for 2 of today's projects and been on a bit of a shop. Upon Suzie's recommendation I ventured out to find a Dunelm to see if they had any bargain wool left....and they did!

99p each! These are destined to be scarfs for Christmas presents (I know it's too early to be thinking that, but at this price...!) or possibly knitted bags. I'll need to buy some fatter needles before I can get cracking. When I arrived home there were lots of little parcels on the door mat waiting for me! A bunch of goodies I bought from eBay at the weekend. I love the turtle fabric! No idea what it's going to be though....oh! nearly lunch time, J is popping home for lunch and then I'll have all afternoon to sew. Hopefully some pictures later. BFN! x
