I got home from work yesterday and decided to tackle a few things on my 'to do' list before I'm allowed to start anything new. I've sewn in the ends on the 3 Christmas scarves I've made so, they just need blocking and tassels/pom poms (this is why I start Christmas projects so early....takes me forever to finish anything!). I also finished off my newest biological brooches. A mitochondrion and bacteria. Only the biologists at work guessed what they were!

And here is J's first big sewing project! He decided he wanted to make a beach ball, made his own pattern and riffled through my felt pile. Here is the finished article - not too bad for completely hand sewn! He's a lovely husband!
