Arrrghhhh. Brain freeze! I really couldn't think of an interesting title today, ah well. Did you have a nice weekend? We did. Friday I went on a hen-do and we went to a Thai Karaoke place...very strange, but quite fun. J's big sis came over for lunch with Megster and we had a lovely time walking around the garden (with Meg!), bouncing (Meg) and playing on the Wii. Sunday we went for lunch then I had a bit of a crafternoon and got the sewing machine out on the big table downstairs - much more room for me to spread out. I finished the PE bags for my cousins girls and my items for the Russian doll swap....Here's a sneak-peek...

Can you tell what it is yet?! I won't spoil it for Chloe, my swap partner. These will be parcelled up tonight ready to post off after work tomorrow. I really hope she likes them. The big blue thing isn't your conventional Russian Doll, but I got an idea and had to roll with it. I'll post more pics once I know they have arrived safely! In the mean time here are the PE bags....simple draw-string bags with felt names sewn on.

Oooo! I bought some pretty 'frozen treat' stitch markers on Etsy a little while ago from scarymerry and they arrived today! YAY! I can crack on with the tea cosy I'm knitting for Joy! I can't say what it is....but if it works it should look good! I've knit 2/3rds of the sides and now need to do the top 3rd in rounds. I've never knitted anything in a round or on double pointed needles so I'm a little nervous! I'll let you know how it works out! Also waiting for my felt order to arrive so I can make more planets for my Etsy shop.

And finally...

...Sausage takes a snooze in Mousey's garden!
