Pffff. Well, I've been signed off work for the week to rest and recover from my 'upper respiratory tract infection'. I don't mind - I've been spending so much time sleeping over the Christmas holidays just to avoid coughing so bloomin much that a bit more won't hurt. It just feels a bit weird, I've worked since I left university in 1999 and never been signed off on the sick. I've had a few days off here and there - never a week...Ah well. I might get my other sock finished before the weather warms up.

Yep, you heard me right! I've finally FINALLY started sock 2! I may have a pair! WOOOOOT! I think I've been spurred on by the freezing weather we've been having the last few days. I've had incredibly cold feet in bed and need a good pair of socks to help keep them toasty. This pic shows you my current view from the sofa: plenty of fluids, 6 rows of sock and the tv remote...now if only daytime tv wasn't so bloomin awful(!). Now for some animal photos because I can :)
