Oh my, a week since my last post. Terribly sorry readers! I've been doing a bit of much needed nesting, well, only because I had to! I've been tidying the old craft room (still!), sorting out OOOOOLD clothes and things to go off to charity and other bits and bobs. It seems I'm not the only one nesting around these parts. Saturday morning I sat for a good half hour while eating breakfast watching a squirrel building a nest in our sycamore tree. You can just make out a pile of leaves in the middle of the branches that don't quite look like they should be there it was fascinating.

I've managed to get a few more Christmas items finished off to add to my stash ready for when I feel up to opening my Christmas shop. I'm planning on having a month or two off from running my shops and *IF* I manage to find any time to relax with a bit of sewing once baby arrives it'll be just for fun! But to keep you interested I've been making Christmas cards and cute felt baubles which I shall try and photograph next time the sun is shining!

We spent a lovely weekend entertaining J's Dad while he helped out in the garden. I'm not as active in the garden as I was last year and there was much to do. J helped under his Dad's expert supervision and it's looking much tidier. Hopefully over the summer I'll be able to do a little bit myself as I do miss being able to go for a potter - I'm just too rounded to bend over and do any weeding now! We also had a lovely visit to Birmingham's Botanical garden. We usually go a couple of times a year as its not too far away, but we hadn't managed it yet this year. It was lovely! Here are a few pics to round off today's post!
