We received another fab box of stuff from Yellow Moon to review – this time it was a festive box of goodies!

In our box was: Festive foam glasses, Reindeer gift bag kits, Star mosaic wand kits and a Christmas paper pack.

Penguin sewing decoration kits, some fun festive toys and Santa felt stickers.

We took our box of goodies to a friends house. The kids loved everything and wanted to do it all in one afternoon. Lucky for us the weather was rubbish so we managed to get through quite a lot! The kids ages are 6, 5, 4 and 3.

They LOVED the festive foam glasses and did a fab job making them with minimal help needed from the grown-ups.

The Reindeer gift bags went down well and look awesome!

The star mosaic wands kept them busy for a little longer and once made there was a lot of turning people into frogs! The fun toys have also been thoroughly tested by all and we made a few Christmas cards, which I’ll post picture of once they’ve been posted out to family, using the festive paper and cool Santa felt stickers. The kids loved sticking the little faces on the bodies they had drawn!

We’ve still got the penguins to make ready for when the tree goes up next week.

All items were sent to us by Yellow Moon for review purposes. Opinions are my own (well, and the 6, 5,4 and 3 year olds this time!).

Well, our box of summer craft fun arrived a few weeks ago from Yellow Moon and as usual I had to fight the girls to get photos of the contents before they started immediately crafting!

A set of animal sand art bottles and fluorescent sand.

Monster foam finger puppets, space wooden shapes, Animal glasses card blanks, Gnome suncatcher stakes and Beach hut stained glass decorations.

There’s a huge choice of the sand art bottles available and the girls LOVED filling them up with the different colours….and then shaking them up so the sand all got mixed together! Don’t they look pretty (before the shaking!).

All gnomes were carefully coloured in with our glass pens and are ready to fancy up the veg patch once we sew our salad seeds at the weekend!

I love the stained glass window crafts – they’re always a winner with the girls. This one is mine! :)

These are the wooden space shapes all out of the packet. The girls coloured them in the felt pens then covered them in glitter glue!

I think I might drill little holes in the tops and hang them from the girls ceiling once I’ve had a go at a few!

RAAAAAAAA! We have a very colourful lion. C loved these animal glasses and carefully coloured 3 in in a variety of rainbow colours!

All in all another fab box of craft stuff provided by Yellow Moon for us to review. The range of items they have is great and you can always get something to match any theme!

Our latest box of Yellow Moon goodies arrived just before Christmas and it was packed full of fun things to make as always! In fact with the rubbish weather these have been invaluable!

Here’s what we got: Giant Chinese paper lanterns, felt pens, owl bean bag sewing kits, create-a-calendar, firework glitter foam stickers, snowflake foam wand kits, Chinese dragon scratch art magnets and lantern kits. PHEW! This may take a couple of posts to get through everything. Continue reading »

A couple of weeks ago we were sent an exciting box of rainforest themed crafty stuff to review by Yellow Moon. No sooner had I opened the box and shown H what we’d got, then we were cracking open the foam animals stickers and adding them to everything! Birthday cards, pictures, you name it!

C joined in the fun too when we had a few little friends round for the morning. The animals were lovely and bright and a good variety. You even get bananas and pineapples! Some of the shapes were a little fiddly for the 3 year olds to peel, but with mummies at the ready they made some great pictures to take home.

The rainforest foam door hangers were great. I loved these too! H had a great time making the monkey and hardly needed any help sticking the pieces in the right pieces. Continue reading »
